Liquid Mountains began during my printmaking degree, inspired by Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic work, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Photographed during storm conditions at Ballintoy Harbour on the North Coast of Ireland, the series transforms Atlantic waves into sculptural mountain-like forms.

Using a long lens, the ocean becomes compressed and cinematic, creating atmospheric studies of movement, texture and light.

Printed on museum-quality archival matte paper — a premium acid-free fine art paper chosen for depth, softness and longevity.
