About the Image:
A time-lapse taken from Castlerock Pier looking over to Mussenden Temple. For this image, I arrived at 3 am and set up in the dark of night I then stayed until dusk. I love this image, you have the gradient of sunrise on the horizon complemented by the Milky Way over the Temple.

About 'Coordinates°’

'Coordinates°’ is an epic collection of vistas set around the North Coast all images are titled with the precise longitude and latitude from where it was taken. If you type the coordinate number into google you will get directions which will allow you to go and see the location for yourself. My background is as a printmaker so instead of using one static shot of an image or limiting myself to one exposure, I use multiple images taken over sometimes 5hrs of the same scene and combine these images to create the magical compositions you see today.

People respond to the magical and creative nature of this work, the stars, the sea, the use of colour and composition.

Image complement by:

The work has been cleverly designed to ensure all pieces share the same horizon. This allows you to purchase a selection of pieces which will synchronise and begin
to complement each other.

Frames.

Prints are carefully mounted in a simple black or white frame, that will protect your print for years to come, easy to hang and look great in sets of 3.

Paper:

My smaller sizes are printed on Fujifilm professional pearl 320gsm has a smooth surface structure with the unique pearl-coating. This natural white paper - is free of OBA's and reminds of a natural white baryta paper.

My large prints are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Satin,  a natural white FineArt paper made of 100% α-cellulose that has been refined with a special inkjet coating for FineArt applications. The subtly textured, smooth base paper contains no optical brighteners and has a silky, smooth surface texture with a beautiful feel. The satin-gloss premium coating guarantees exceptional print results with intense colours, deep blacks and outstanding sharpness. The barium sulphate within the coating makes FineArt Baryta Satin a viable alternative to analogue baryta paper. The acid- and lignin-free FineArt inkjet paper meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and produces stunning Fine Art reproductions of colour photographs.
