About the Image:

This is an image I had planned to make for a year, I went to Mussenden Temple with the intention of shooting a time-lapse that later I would blend together. I arrived 2hrs before sunset and set up my composition, I decided to shoot away from the sun and capture the highlights on the temple, I began shooting at about 7.50 pm when the sun was casting bright red rays on the building. I then sat there for a further 5 hrs until the milky way lined up behind the building. For me this is such a powerful image as the reds and blues of the image complement each other so well, once displayed on your walls it will get huge attention.

About 'Coordinates°’

'Coordinates°’ is an epic collection of vistas set around the North Coast all images are titled with the precise longitude and latitude from where it was taken. If you type the coordinate number into google you will get directions which will allow you to go and see the location for yourself. My background is as a printmaker so instead of using one static shot of an image or limiting myself to one exposure, I use multiple images taken over sometimes 5hrs of the same scene and combine these images to create the magical compositions you see today.

People respond to the magical and creative nature of this work, the stars, the sea, the use of colour and composition.

Paper:

All of my work is printed on Fujifilm professional pearl 320gsm has a smooth surface structure with the unique pearl-coating. This natural white paper - is free of OBA's and reminds of a natural white baryta paper.

Postage:

Prints will be rolled in a heavy tube and posted via royal mail 24hr tracked.
Frames can be picked up in person or if you live close to me, or I can deliver them to you in person if you are within 30 miles of Ballycastle.
